Robert Hollingsworth

MILFORD - Robert Collins “Bob” Hollingsworth passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Bob was born in Coatesville, PA, the son of the late Charles Hollingsworth and Dorothy (Vibbert) Hollingsworth.

He was a graduate of Greenwood High School. Bob was the owner of Hollingsworth Heating and A/C Inc. in Milford.  He was a longtime member of Crossroad Community Church, Georgetown and Lincoln United Methodist Church, where he served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. He was a member of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling in his spare time as well as attending Bible study.  His family was very important to Bob, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Ann (Corkran) Hollingsworth.

He is survived by his children, Michael Lee Hollingsworth Sr. and his wife Jackie, Alan Hollingsworth and his wife Lou-Ann.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tiffany Broome and her husband Justin; his great-granddaughter, Skylar Broome; Michael Hollingsworth II and his wife Lin; his great-granddaughter Isabelle; Shannon Geyer and her husband Zeph; and Mark Hollingsworth.  Additional surviving family includes his brother, Barry Hollingsworth and his wife Charlotte; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Corkran and Betty Donaway.

A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held graveside at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2 at Milford Community Cemetery.
