Wilma J. Shockley, 76
MILFORD - Wilma J. Shockley passed away at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
She was born in Kingwood, West Virginia on June 16, 1940, daughter of the late Clinton and Daisy Friend.
Wilma was employed with Playtex in Dover for several years before becoming a full time homemaker.
She enjoyed warm summer days boating with her grandchildren and spending quality time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville W. Shockley in 2010.
Wilma is survived by her daughter, Brenda Hudson and her fiancé Barry Hill of Milford; two grandchildren, Christina Mosley and husband Linwood, Jr. of Frederica; and Andrew Courtney and fiancée Amanda Grier of Felton; three great grandchildren, Faith Farrell, Carlee Courtney, and Cassidy Courtney; a sister, Doris Ashby and her husband Allen of Terra Alta, W. Va; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be held privately.
