Patricia "Trish" Herholdt

MILFORD - Trish Herholdt passed away in her sleep on Friday, February 28, 2014. She was 55.

She left behind her husband Tom, daughter Alicia, son Jack and granddaughter Sophia to carry on in life. Trish is also survived by her sisters, Evelyn Guthridge of Falls Church, VA, Elizabeth Frederick, and Genieve Poisson, both of La Rochelle, France (the birthplace of her mother Odette); nieces Jennifer, Amanda, Carol, Christie, Cherrie, Cindy, Lisa, Amy Kelsey; nephews Mike, Dan John Wesley, and a slew in France.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Odette Frederick and two brothers, Wilson and Cole.

Trish had great pride in her children and granddaughter's every accomplishment as seen by the smile on her face and in her voice whenever she spoke of them. Her current task in life was to guide her granddaughter Sophie into her teen age years by pushing her to do more. Whether on-stage, behind the scenes or in the role of Director or Producer, you always knew when Trish was involved as evidenced by the humor she possessed. She would often quote music or a line from a show only to see if those around her could follow-up with the name. It was a running game with those who loved her. The piece of her resume unfinished was to direct Hairspray.

Trish was employed by By The Book, was secretary for the Williamsville Historical Society, Tom's backup for any office he has held with the First State Harmonizers, and according to her family and guests, one heck of a cook.

The lights have definitely dimmed on New Street by her passing. One of her best friend's, Becky, described her as a story teller extraordinaire and someone you could count on to make you laugh.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call at noon.

A celebration of her life will be held at her home located at 603 New Street, Milford, following the service.
