Susan E. Holston
Of Milford, Delaware, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 90.
Susan was born on March 18, 1920 in Milford, daughter of the late Edward and Edith (Coverdale) Jones.
She was a full time homemaker who enjoyed time spent with her family and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Holston, a son, George E. Holston, Sr., two brothers; Charles Jones and Samuel Jones and three sisters; Amy Burris, Lena Williamson and Mabel Watkins.
She is survived by two sons, E. Thomas Holston and his wife Janice of Clark Summit, PA and Gary P. Holston and his wife Susan K. of Milford; two daughters; Jean K. Jarrell of Milford and Joan F. Schaible and her husband John of Dover; a brother, Franklin Jones of Milford; a sister, Eliza Stokes of Milford; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call two hours prior.
Burial will be held in the Milford Community Cemetery on North Walnut Street.
