Susan B. Fuhrman
Of Milford, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford surrounded by her family. She was 39.
Susan was born on March 24, 1971 in Richmond Hill, New York, the daughter of George and Wilma (Gannon) Fuhrman.
She worked in retail sales for several years with the popular children's store Build-A-Bear before moving to Delaware.
Susan enjoyed reading, writing, listening to music, trips to the beach and she loved animals. The greatest gift in her life and her pride and joy was her daughter, Caitlin, whom she loved deeply.
She is survived by her daughter, Caitlin Ruiz Fuhrman of Milford; her parents, George and Wilma Fuhrman of Milford; two brothers and a sister-in-law; George T. Fuhrman, Jr. of Queens, NY and David J. and Lurys Fuhrman of Milford; a sister, Diane C. Fuhrman of Milford; her fiancAC., Lawrence Khare; her Godmother, Beatrice Fuhrman; a cousin, William Vaughan; a niece, Alanis S. Fuhrman and two nephews, David J. Fuhrman and Kevin D. Fuhrman.
Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may greet the family one hour prior.
Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Debbie's Fund, A Friend to Animals, c/o The Felton Bank, Attn: Dee Andrews, 698A N. DuPont Hwy, Milford, DE, 19963.
