Milford - On January 6, 2021, Steven D. Rippy, “Pete”, peacefully went home to be with the Lord.
He was born on September 25, 1960, in Washington D.C., to the late Tarleton and Margaret Rippy.
Steven graduated from Suitland High School in 1978 and then furthered his education by receiving an Associate’s Degree in Radiology Technology from Prince George’s Community College in 1996.
Mr. Rippy honorably served our country in the United States Air Force from 1978 to 1987.
He worked at Bayhealth as a Radiology Technologist and M.R.I. Technologist for several years. Recently Mr. Rippy worked as a House Monitor at Home of the Brave Foundation.
In his spare time Steven enjoyed surfing the internet and listening to music.
Mr. Rippy is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rose Rippy. He is also survived by his mother Margaret Rippy, his brother, Thomas Brian Rippy and his wife Edith, mother in law, Kathleen Talbert, his sister in law, Teresa Robb and her husband David, his brothers in law, Robert Talbert and Patrick Talbert and his wife Cori, his nieces; Nicole Hunter and her husband Christopher, Jennifer Miller, Ashley Kerns, Samantha Eliff and her husband Curtis, Emma Talbert, and Lillian Talbert, and his nephews; Christopher Robb and his wife Melanie, Patrick Talbert, II, Zachery Talbert, and Nicholas Talbert.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 1/21 with a funeral service at 8pm. Please bring a mask as they are required.
Burial will be at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD at 10:30am on Friday 1/22.
