Sara Mae Webb
MILFORD - Sara Mae Webb passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. She was 90.
Sara Mae was born in Milford on October 26, 1923, daughter of the late F. Layton and Sally A. Bennett.
She was a full time homemaker and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Sara Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Webb in 1977, a sister, Carrie Johnson, and two brothers, Norman Bennett and Fenwick Bennett.
She is survived by a son, Joseph H. Webb, Jr. and companion Deanna Smith of Milford; a daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Jerry Kovach of Milford; a step-daughter, Betty Jo Hanbury of Salisbury, MD; a sister, Charlotte Ann Wyatt and her husband Melvin of Harrington; three grandchildren, Jennifer Warnock and her husband Travis, Joseph H. Webb III and his wife Lori, and Dax Webb and his wife Trisha; two step-grandchildren, David Hanbury and Jennifer Hanbury; and four great-grandchildren, Juliana Warnock, Skylar Webb, Briar Webb, and Dax Webb, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the Milford Community Cemetery on Route 113.
Burial will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Compassionate Care Hospice, 28467 DuPont Blvd, Millsboro, DE, 19966.
