Sabrina Rose Whilden

Sabrina Rose Whilden was born on November 26, 2008 in Dover Delaware. She entered Heaven on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, after a courageous battle against Ewing’s Sarcoma.

Sabrina was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sabrina’s journey on this earth was one marked by love and compassion. Sabrina’s new journey has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember Sabrina not for the way her life’s journey shifted, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Those who knew Sabrina will remember her for her intense desire to give back and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered. Sabrina had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, through all of her handmade gifts of drawings, paintings and true artwork, that all came from her heart and to bring a smile to your face and to warm your heart.

Sabrina found a new joy and loved to travel. Sabrina was able to travel to Florida and experience many adventures. Sabrina was lucky enough to have a personal visit with the Grinch and go to Harry Potter World. Tennessee was on her list and she visited Nashville, Pigeon Forge the Smokey Mountains and enjoyed Dollywood and visited with her very best friend Jolee. Who by no coincidence was born in the same hospital on the same day. Best friends from the start. Sabrina also caught the international travel bug and flew to Spain and toured several castles, different cites, international food and became a part to a larger family of Norwegians while in Spain.

Sabrina is survived by her loving family, beloved brother Bruce, and SO many friends that became family. She also has an extensive medical team that formed bonds and made memories that will never be forgotten, and will forever be cherished.

The Celebration of Life service to honor the life of Sabrina Rose Whilden will be held at 1PM on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Roger’s Funeral Home in Milford DE. Visitation will be from 11AM to 1PM. The family will be having a gathering at the Milton Fire Hall, family and friends are welcome to attend. In consideration of Sabrina we would like for all who attend to honor her love of Harry Potter and Taylor Swift. Please wear the colors of Harry Potter or the bling and Pink of Taylor Swift.

Although Sabrina's physical journey may no longer grace our lives, her journey will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love, compassion and forgiveness in all that we do.
