Ruth Callaway

Milford - On July 16, 2021, Ruth L. Callaway, peacefully went home to be with the Lord.

She was born on December 22, 1937, in Harrington, DE to the late William and Evelyn Larrimore.

Ruth was a graduate of Greenwood High School and is a member of their alumni association.

Her working career started at Playtex in 1955. It was there that she met her lifelong friend, Alice Daino.

She will be sorely missed by that close knit group of friends.

Ruth also worked at Vocational Rehabilitation for the State of Delaware for 20 years before retiring.

Mrs. Callaway enjoyed socializing with her close circle of friends.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Callaway and his girlfriend Rae Ann, and Steven Callaway and his wife Yvonne, her granddaughters, Whitney Jackson and her husband Kyle, Kelli Pryor and her husband Storm, and Taylor Baldwin, and her great grandson, Shelton.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, from 11AM to 12PM on Wednesday 7/21, with a memorial service at 12 noon.
