Rose Ann Hall

Milford – On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, Rose Ann Hall peacefully passed away at Polaris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Milford, DE. She was born on February 6, 1936 in Dover, DE to the late Edwin T. and Catherine Matthews.

An honor society student, Rose Ann was salutatorian of the Dover High School class of 1954. Professionally, Rose Ann was well known and admired for her work in various capacities in the Milford medical community. She ably and proudly assisted the late Dr. Terry Quinn and the late

Dr. Don Pfeifer in the establishment of Dickinson Medical Group and continued employment there until her retirement.

Upon retirement, Rose Ann and her late husband Irving enjoyed spending many winters at their mobile home in St. Petersburg, Florida. She and Irving also enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, several National Parks in the West and cruising in the Caribbean. Most of all, Rose Ann was fiercely devoted to her husband, family, and friends. She was always interested and involved in the lives of people who she loved. A truly selfless person who always put loved ones first, Rose Ann remained engaged in their lives right up to her last days.

Rose Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Irving J. Hall; son John Michael Plummer; stepdaughter, Sandra Hall Johnson; brother, Ronald Matthews; and step grandson, E.J.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Boyle; son, Mark E. Plummer ( Starla); stepdaughter, Debra Harrison (Chuck); stepson, Irving Garry Hall ( Beverly); stepson, David W. Hall; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and cousins.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, from 10AM to 11AM on Saturday 12/2 with a funeral service at 11AM.
