On July 10, 2019, Roger H. Ryall, went home to be with the Lord.
He was born on July 21, 1949 in Dennison, TX, to the late Roger Clayton and Ethyl Ryall.
Mr. Ryall honorably served our country during Vietnam in U.S.M.C.
He spent most of his life working as a mechanic and owned several garages during his life in Kent and Sussex Counties.
Later in life Roger was a competitive weightlifter and helped start and organize weightlifting in the local senior Olympics, where he won first place.
One of Mr. Ryall’s favorite roles was being Santa. He was Santa for many children, families, and countless charities throughout his life. He enjoyed bringing a smile to children.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents Roger and Ethyl Ryall and his sister Janet Betts.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jackie Ryall, his 3 daughters; Kim Ryall, Karie Twardus and husband Bryon, and Kristen Ryall, his siblings; JoAnn Mergenthaler and her husband Wally, Judi Cowell and her husband DeWitt, David Ryall and his wife Joanne, Donald Ryall and his wife Patty, and Joyce Armstrong and her husband Ronnie, his grandchildren; Ashley Workman, Hailey, Kailey, Colby, and Kaila Ryall, and Owen and Abby Twardus, and his mother in law, Janet Callaway. As well as many nieces and nephews.
