Robert J. Muffler
Of Milford, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. He was 75.
Robert was born on December 27, 1935 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, son of the late Robert C. and Bertha (Brandt) Muffler.
Mr. Muffler was employed as a Sheet Metal Worker with Local 19 in Philadelphia for 37 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the Masonic Kensington Lodge No 211 A.F.&A.M. in Philadelphia.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Muffler was preceded in death by a son, John F. Muffler, USMC.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan R. Muffler, a son, Robert J. Muffler, Jr. of Milford; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Steven Warren of Milford; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be held on Saturday at the Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Children's Masonic Home, One Masonic Dr, Elizabethtown, PA, 17022 or Delaware Hospice, 911 South DuPont Hwy, Dover, DE, 19901.
