Robert "Bob" Messick
MILFORD - Robert Messick passed away at home on Thursday, June 18, 2015.
Robert was born on May 23, 1933 in Milford, son of the late Edwin P. and Florence (Gillis) Messick.
Bob graduated from Milford Senior High School and went on to further his education at Elizabethtown College graduating with a Bachelors Degree. He spent a great deal of his career with Milford Memorial Hospital as an Assistant Administrator, ultimately retiring as a Health Care Analyst with the State of Delaware.
Bob was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Milford and a member of the Milford Lions Club as well.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a brother, John Edwin Messick Sr.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Hill) Messick and a son, Michael Messick and his wife Jill of Rockville, MD.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Christ Episcopal Church in Milford where friends may gather one hour prior.
The interment will take place at the St. Peter's Pilottown Cemetery on Pilottown Road in Lewes.
