Robert H. Dougherty – Milford
On November 26, 2017, Robert H. Dougherty passed away at his home in Milford.
Mr. Dougherty was born on October 19, 1938 in Wilmington, DE to the late Howard and Eula Dougherty.
He honorably served our country in both the Army and the Air Force.
After graduating from Claymont High School, Robert received a Bachelors degree from U.N.L.V. and a M.B.A. in Finance from Delaware State.
Mr. Dougherty worked as the Director of Finance at Milford Memorial Hospital and was a teacher of statistics at Wilmington College.
He was a member of the Milford Elks and Milford Lions Club.
Robert loved watching the Eagles and the Phillies.
Mr. Dougherty is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susanne Dougherty. He is also survived by his children, Bobby Dougherty and his wife Priscilla, Elizabeth Rush and her husband, Benjamin, Veronica Lamphier and her husband Mark, his stepdaughters; Alicia Scaran and Barbara Bradbury and her husband Scott, his brother, Dennis Dougherty, his granddaughter, Akyra Dolinger and 6 other grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, on Thursday 11/30 at 8PM, with a gathering starting at 6PM.
