Regina A. Haynes

Regina Haynes, 71, of Dover, DE, took her last breath peacefully with her family at her side on September 8th.

She was born in Utica, NY. Reggie’s compassion for children led her to a successful career as a Pediatric Nurse at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Township, NJ. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially during the holidays. But most of all she enjoyed spending her days with her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mariangela, her father, Dante Latte and her mother, Marie Latte She is survived by her husband of 34 years, David Haynes, her children Kathiann Bennett (Charles), Reid Stringer (Lisa) and Sara Bell (Andrew). Her grandchildren, Gina Stringer, Laura Bennett (Andrew), Elyse Bennett (Rocco) and Alexis Bell. Her great-grandchildren Charles Bennett, Colton Senne and Rocco Barone Jr. Her sisters, Ave and Donna Latte. Her sister in-law, Marion Abbate. Her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Federici, Pascal Federici, Dante Federici, Maritza Makowski, Daniel Gamboa and Giavanna Alcin.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for September 28th at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, DE at 12PM, with visitation starting at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to be made in her name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (st.jude.org) or First State Animal Center & SPCA (fsac-spca.org).
