Milford – On September 21, 2017, Naomi M. Drumheller, passed away at the Delaware Hospice Center.
She was born on July 26, 1941 in Darby, PA to Orrin and Mildred Horton.
Naomi graduated from Interboro High School, Prospect Park, PA, in 1959.
She worked at various retail locations around Milford.
Mrs. Drumheller was a member of Avenue United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed plastic canvas needlepoint, and loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and soon to be great grandmother.
Naomi is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ray Drumheller. She is also survived by her son, William Drumheller of Milford, her daughter, Rae Smith and her husband Scott of Millsboro; her grandchildren, Joshua Bailey and his wife Katherine, Ryan Smith, and Christopher Bailey, all of Millsboro, and is expecting her first great grandchild in March.
Naomi will also be missed by her loyal companion, Spot.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles W. Drumheller.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, from 2 – 4 on Sunday. The funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday at Avenue United Methodist Church. Interment will be Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the compassionate care given to Naomi from the Milford Memorial I.C.U. and the Delaware Hospice Center.
