Mary Ann Thomas, 81
Of Ocean View, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.
Mary Ann was born on January 3, 1932 in Easton, MD, daughter of the late Henry Wilbur and Ruth Collins Hynson.
She was employed as a lab technician with the E.I. DuPont Company in Wilmington for 30 years, retiring in 1990.
While living in Ocean View, she was an active member of the VFW Post #7234.
Mary Ann is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Toni and John Hollis of Felton; grandson, Jonathan Hollis; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Patricia Lee Hynson of Missoula, MT; two nephews, Jarod Hynson (Krysti), and Josh Hynson (Dusty); and 7 great nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow the service in the St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Research, 15825 Shady Grove Rd, Rockville, MD, 20850.
