MILFORD - On July 29, 2017, Mrs. Mary Thomas Tatman, 91, passed away at Country Rest Nursing Home.
She was born on August 6, 1925, in Pittsville, MD, to Joseph and Violet Thomas.
Mrs. Tatman graduated from Wilmington Memorial Hospital Nursing School as a Registered Nurse, and then worked at Dover Air Force Base Hospital.
Mary was a member of Sarah’s Circle, Beta Sigma Phi, and Avenue Methodist Church.
Mrs. Tatman was preceded in death by her husband, James Merritt Tatman. She is survived by her children, Ronald Tatman and his wife Jill, of Milford, her daughter, Marianne Ward and her husband, Tony, of Machipongo, VA; her grandchildren, Mary Beth Ward, Austin James Ward, Kaila Jo Muncey, and Terra Ann Eby; and her great granddaughter, Lianna Ward.
The family will receive visitors between 10 -11AM on Thursday, August 3rd, at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, with a Funeral Service at 11AM.
Burial will be at Hollywood Cemetery.
