Marie Emory
MILFORD - Marie Emory passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood. She was 88.
Marie was born in Milford on March 1, 1928, daughter of the late Conrad Henry Fassel and Lyda Mae (Darby) Fassel.
She was employed by the Milford School District, first as a teachers' aide for ten years and then as secretary to the principal, retiring in 1988 after 30 years of devoted service.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Layton Emory in 2015, her daughter, Dr. Joyce Perry in 2010, and a son, Ronald Lee Emory in 2006.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary L. and Cindy Emory of Lincoln; a daughter-in-law, Susan Emory of Milford; a son-in-law, Greg Perry of Pa.; and five grandchildren, Zachary Emory, Hilary Emory, Rhett Perry, Trey Perry, and John Butler.
Services and burial will be held privately.
