Margaret Jane Hayes
Of Milford, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was 77.
Margaret was born on January 13, 1933 in Milford, daughter of the late Clarence and Martha (Otwell) Draper.
Mrs. Hayes was employed in the plant of the L.D. Caulk Company in Milford for 15 years before retiring. She worked part time for several years after retirement for Walmart as a greeter.
She was a member of the Milford Senior Center.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Hayes in 2008; three brothers, Clyde Draper, Leroy Draper and Thomas Draper; three sisters, Elizabeth Scott, Grace Donovan and Anna Mae Shield and her granddaughter, Tracy Clendaniel.
She is survived by a son, James Robert Hayes of Smyrna; a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and David Clendaniel of Milford; a sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Melvin Price of Easton, MD; a grandson, Duane Clendaniel and his wife Alisha and two great grandchildren, Leia Clendaniel and Kara Clendaniel.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call two hours prior.
Burial will be held privately.
