Linda L. Caccamise

On January 25, 2025, Linda L. Caccamise, peacefully passed away at her home in Lincoln. She was 77.

Linda was born on June 10, 1947 in Portland, Maine, to the late Roger and Edith Carr.

Linda moved around frequently during her childhood, as her father was in the Air Force. Eventually they moved to Dover, Delaware and Linda graduated high school. She then decided to become a nurse and graduated from Milford Memorial School of Nursing.

Linda worked as a OBGYN Nurse at Milford Memorial Hospital and for Dr. Dyer.

She was a member of the Piecemakers Quilting Guild and the Hospital Auxiliary.

Linda enjoyed quilting, sewing, needlework, reading, and loved to travel with her late husband.

She was preceded in death by her late husband George Caccamise and her brother, Roger Carr, Jr.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Lisa Caccamise, her granddaughter, Lexi Caccamise, her brother, Robert Carr, and her sister, Joyce Hallisey.

A memorial service will be held at Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Ave., Milford, DE at 11AM on Saturday, February 1st, with a visitation starting at 9AM. 

Interment is Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery.
