Kathy L. (DeArmitt) Vaughn
FREDERICA - Kathy L. Vaughn passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital in Dover. She was 67.
Kathy was born in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, on September 10, 1948, daughter of the late Howard J. DeArmitt, Sr. and Cora I. (Slagel) DeArmitt.
She was a 1967 graduate of Huntingdon High School.
Kathy was employed for several years as a Bakery/Deli Manager at Thriftway in Dover and Smyrna, and lastly in the same position with Food Lion in Middletown and Dover.
She enjoyed cooking and baking and tending to her flowers.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Kruger and Bernice McCoy, and a brother, Howard J. DeArmitt, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, William B. Vaughn; two sons, William D. Vaughn (Deborah) of Ewing, NJ, and Kenneth H. Vaughn (Jennifer) of Harrington; a daughter, Angela L. Wisseman (Donald Noll) of Lincoln; a sister, Karen Myers of Newburg PA; a brother, Harry C. DeArmitt of PA; and four grandchildren, Matthew, Brianna, M.J., and Kyla.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 12:00 p.m.
Burial will be held privately.
