Joseph Kozlowski, Sr.

September 10, 1942 — September 3, 2018

Milford – On September 3, 2018, Joseph C. Kozlowski, Sr., peacefully passed away at Delaware Hospice in Milford, Delaware.

He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on September 10, 1942 to Joseph and Jennie Kozlowski.

Joseph graduated from North Hampton Commercial College in 1962 with an Associates degree.

Mr. Kozlowski was a police officer in the town of Wilbraham, Massachusetts for a period of about five years before becoming an insurance investigator for multiple insurance companies.  Joseph was also an ex-safety officer for Smith & Wesson Firearms, which he was so proud to have served.  In his late teens, Joseph was offered a contract with a semi-professional baseball team as he loved the game of baseball.

He enjoyed fishing from his two boats and visiting various flea markets.  Joseph was also an avid New York Yankees fan.  He was a member of the Milford Moose Lodge and Milford Elks Lodge #2401.  He will be sadly missed.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Linda, to whom he was married for 39 years.  He is also survived by his brother, John, who lives in Ware, Massachusetts, a niece, Kara Bigda and a nephew, Matt Kozlowski, both living in Massachusetts.

Services will be private.
