John Robinson Tribbitt, II “Captain Jack”
Of Milford, DE passed away at his cabin in Baker, W.V. on June 18, 2017.
Mr. Tribbitt was born on April 20, 1947 to John and Elizabeth Tribbitt, in Milford, DE.
He graduated from Felton High School in 1965.
John proudly served our country from 1966 to 1968 in the United States Army.
Mr. Tribbitt was a member of the V.F.W., American Legion, A.M. Vets, Milford Elks, and Milford Moose Lodge.
John loved traveling with Sandy to his cabin in West Virginia and to his beach house in Florida. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Mildred Lee Tribbitt (O’Neal); his children, John R. Tribbitt, III, and Matthew Allen Tribbitt, and his Son-in-law Russ Delosier.
John is survived by his significate other of 23 years, Sandy Bauer; his daughter Robin Jackson and her husband Rusty, and his daughter Shelly Delosier, his sister, Ruthie Hopkins; his brother, David Tribbitt; 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 11AM – 1PM on Monday, June 26th, at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave. The funeral service will be held at 1PM with a Celebration of Life at the Milford’s Elks Lodge immediately following. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Home of Brave, 9 Causey Ave, Milford , DE 19963.
