Jean Young
MILFORD - Jean Young passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 75.
Jean was born n Brooklyn, NY, on July 30, 1940, daughter of the late Frederick and Florence (Kelly) Shields.
She worked in the Law Department of AT&T in Manhattan for 15 years retiring from her position in 1984. Starting in the 1970's, Jean became a consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics and continued her association with them for many years.
Jean loved to cook at home and dine out on occasion at the local restaurants. In addition, she enjoyed solving a good crossword puzzle in her spare time and in years past singing in her church choir.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Rubino.
Jean is survived by her husband of 46 years, Russell Young; a niece, Shawn Aldous and husband Dave of Florida; and a nephew, John Rubino of New York.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow the services at Henlopen Memorial Park, 28787 Lockerman Rd, Milton.
