Jamie L. Harris
Of Felton, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 43.
Jamie was born on August 27, 1968 in Germany, the daughter of Duane E. Lyon and Carol Paul Umstead.
Before she became disabled, Jamie was employed for several years with a Day Care facility.
She was a regular participant at Easter Seals in Georgetown.
Mrs. Harris attended the St. Bernadette's Catholic Church in Harrington.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Michael D. Harris; her father, Duane E. Lyon of Flowery Branch, GA; her mother, Carol Umstead of Milton; two brothers, Andrew Lyon and his companion Sue Dugan of Milford and Duane Lyon and his companion Jim Craig of Baltimore, MD; a sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Jeff Brown of Batesville, IN; a brother-in-law, Ricky Harris and his wife Kristy of MD and her nieces and nephews; Elizabeth, Jeffery, Jr., Brittany, Aaliya, Amber, R.J. and Jake.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services at Holy Cross Cemetery, Clara St, Dover.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Easter Seals, 22317 DuPont Hwy, Georgetown, DE, 19947.
