Irving Hall

Milford – On February 5, 2023, Irving J. Hall peacefully passed away at Country Rest Home in Greenwood.

He was born on October 15, 1935 in Milford to the late Irving E. and Esther C. Hall.

Irving graduated from Milford High School in 1953 and was employed by Webb’s Ford-Mercury-Lincoln dealership for twenty seven years. Irving then opened Hall’s Auto Repair Shop at the corner of Shawnee Road and N. Union Church Road. After retirement from this business, Irving and Rose Ann spent wintered at their mobile home in St. Petersburg, FL.

Irving enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of two hunting clubs in the Milford area as well as bear hunting in Pennsylvania, New York State and Canada.

He loved to travel and visited Alaska, Hawaii, several National Parks in the West and enjoyed a cruise in the Caribbean. He was a member of the Elks Club in Milford, N.R.A. and the Senior Center in Harrington.

He loved his family very much and attended many sporting events and extra-curricular activities throughout the years.

Irving was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Sandra Hall Johnson, three sisters, Mary Davis, Dorothy Hallman, and Lucille Webb, his grandson, E.J., and his stepson, Michael Plummer.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rose Ann Hall (Matthews), his daughter, Debra Harrison (Chuck), his step daughter, Cathy Boyle, his sons, Irving Garry Hall (Beverly), and David W. Hall, his stepson, Mark Plummer (Starla), 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, from 10AM to 11AM on Friday 210, with a funeral service at 11AM. Burial is private.
