Harry B. Lynch
MILFORD - Harry B. Lynch passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 89.
Harry was born in Milford on April 22, 1924, son of the late James Henry and Nellie (Collins) Lynch.
Mr. Lynch owned and operated Lynch's Service Station and Auto Repair Shop in Milford for 36 years, retiring in 1986.
He was a member of the AARP, the Milford Senior Center, and a life member of the Odd Fellows Lodge #30 in Felton.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lynch was preceded in death by his wife, Filomena Lynch in 2011, two brothers, Alpheus Dick Lynch and Warren Lynch,and two sisters, Sarah Ann Carter and Jennie Mae Willey.
He is survived by four nieces, Jeannette Ryder and her husband Richard, Sharon Laverty and her husband Mike, Debbie Morgan and her husband Richard, and Dawn Kolbe and her husband John. He is also survived by close friends Robert Southard III and his wife Ann and their children Patricia Southard and Robert Southard IV; and Siggi Patterson, and Anthony Rossi.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call one hour prior.
Burial will follow the services in the Milford Community Cemetery on Route 113.
