Estelle Pickett

It is with great sadness that the family of Estelle (Blanchette) Pickett (83) of Milford announce her passing on September 27th, 2019. Her funeral mass will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Ave Milford, DE on Wednesday, October 2 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro.

Estelle was born in Swansea MA and entered the Air Force in 1955.  There she met her husband of 64 years and raised a family of 7 children.  She was a shining example of how life should be lived to its fullest, enjoy every day, don’t worry about the little things and that God is always at your side.  She often mentioned how proud she was of all her children.

She is sorely missed by her husband, Bill; Children: William (Mary Jane), Robert (Susan), James, Jeffrey, Kathleen (Mike), Delia (Victor), and Michelle (Peter); 14 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; and 5 brothers and sisters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Delia and Albert; Brother, James; Grandchildren Tatiana and Anastasia; and Great-Granddaughter Ellington.
