Elizabeth "Betty" Warren Wilkins
Elizabeth " Betty" Warren Wilkins, RN, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 in Milford Center. She was 90.
Betty was born October 22, 1920 in Yonkers, New York, daughter of the late William and Helen Warren.
She was well-known as a wonderful and caring nurse for many years at Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford Center, Beebe Medical Center and the Evergreen Center.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing and spending time with friends and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years John R Wilkins, Jr., four brothers and a sister.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. John R. Wilkins, lll and his companion Dr. Kathleen Koechlin of Columbus, Ohio, Robert Warren Wilkins and his wife Kim of Milford, De., four grandchildren, Beau Wilkins, Janelle and husband Greg Sender, Emily and husband Kyle Lugg and Caroline Block-Wilkins, two great grandchildren, Olivia Lugg and Grayson Sender.
Services will be at 6:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2011 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, DE., where friends may call one hour prior to service.
Burial will be private.
