Dorothy E. Campbell
FELTON - Dorothy E. Campbell passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2016.
"Dotty" was born March 29, 1929 to the late Ralph Eaton and Marion Perkins Eaton in Malden, MA.
She grew up in Malden and graduated from Malden High School. During high school she worked as a secretary at Wirthmore Feeds in Malden where she would meet the love of her life, Raymond Joseph Campbell. They married on December 31, 1950 and would have celebrated 66 years of marriage this year.
Dotty loved to sew, knit, crochet, craft, quilt...you name it, anything with a needle and thread or material was always in her hands. She enjoyed working and was successful at all of her endeavors, be it in the school cafeteria or providing secretarial help at an attorney's office.
She was a generous and kind friend to many, and always had a smile for friend and stranger alike. Dotty and Ray had the good fortune to travel many places, and also enjoyed winters in Florida for some time.
In addition to her parents, Dotty was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Meuse, a brother, Ralph A. Eaton, and two beautiful daughters, Linda Marie Turpan and Carol Anne Davidoff.
She is survived by her steadfast and loving husband, friend and caregiver, Raymond "Ray" J. Campbell; a daughter, Joyce Campbell (Craig Mehler); a sister, Ruth Learned (John); and grandchildren, Michael Davidoff, Jason Mehler, and Andrea Aldridge (Greg).
Please join the family in celebrating her life at a service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be held privately.
