Donna L Hartzell

Milford - On Tuesday October 24, 2023, Donna L. Hartzell, 68, peacefully went home to be with the Lord.

Donna was born on October 15, 1955, in Easton, PA, to the late Darwin and Madeline Lambert.

She graduated from Northampton High School in 1973, and then received an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Northampton Community College.

Donna worked as a nurse at Easton Hospital in Easton, PA and Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford, DE.

She was very active in the Special Olympics with her two children.

Mrs. Hartzell enjoyed going shopping with her daughter, going on vacation with her family to Oceanview, DE., fishing, jet skiing, and going to the beach.

Donna is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jeffrey Hartzell. She is also survived by her children, Michael and Mariah Hartzell, and her brothers, Michael Lambert and his wife Marcia, and Don Lambert and his wife Carol.

A Memorial Service will be held at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford on Saturday 11/4 at 2PM, with visitation starting at 1PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Special Olympics Delaware, 619 South College Ave., Newark, DE 19716.
