Dona Addington

On January 15, 2025, while surrounded by her loved ones, Dona Addington peacefully passed away at her home in Milford. She was 76.

Dona was born in Milford on July 14, 1948 to the late Donald and Mary Walls.

She graduated from Milford High School in 1966.

Mrs. Addington started her working career at Playtex. She then became a bookkeeper for Hammond Cadillac and then Webb Ford and finally Milford Motors. Dona also worked for the family business at R. Addington Company.

She was the Treasurer for Coastal Corvette Club. 

Dona enjoyed painting, Corvettes, and was an avid collector of Fiesta. 

Mrs. Addington is survived by her husband of 43 years, Richard Addington. She is also survived by her sons, Cole Haggerty, and Matt Haggerty and his wife Jessie, and her grandchildren, Chelsea Ormond and her husband Jesse, Bryce Haggerty and his wife Katie, Bradley Haggerty and Mason Haggerty.

A celebration of Dona's life will take place at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave. Milford from 11AM to 1PM on Saturday March 22nd.
