Dennis Raymond Mohr, Sr.
Of Lincoln, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. He was 65.
Dennis was born on April 28, 1946 in Milford, son of the late Charles and Naomi Tatman Mohr.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Mohr was employed for 30 years with DuPont's in Seaford retiring as a supervisor in 1997. He worked at separate times after retirement for ACE Hardware in Milford and Fitzgerald's Demolition in Lincoln.
He devoted many years as a coach for Milford Pop Warner Football and the Milford Little League.
Dennis loved hunting, fishing, gardening and working in his yard. He especially enjoyed the peacefulness of his lakefront home and the company of neighbors and friends when entertaining in his back yard.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Mohr was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Mohr.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis R. Mohr, Jr. and Kris Mohr; a daughter, Tina Mohr; five brothers, Larry Mohr, Richard Mohr, Bill Mohr, Allen Mohr and Jay Mohr; two sisters, Betty Irwin and Barbara Hoopes and three grandchildren; Logan Mohr, Konnor Mohr and Braeden Mohr.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call two hours prior.
Burial will be held privately.
