Daniel Edward Twardus, Sr.
FELTON - Daniel E. Twardus, Sr. passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 63.
He was born in Wilmington on December 22, 1953, son of the late Stanley J. and Frances (Buchanan) Twardus.
Dan was a caring and devoted husband who took care of his beloved wife during her illness for the last 16 years. He loved fishing and bowling and enjoyed watching Nascar and occasionally a football game.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia (Boyer) Twardus; three children, Daniel Twardus, Jr. and his wife Alethea, Bryon Twardus and his wife Karie, and Amanda Tesoro and her husband Wayne; and eight grandchildren, Matthew, Colin, Holly, Hunter, Isabella, Meadow, Owen and Abby.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 109 Dixon St, Harrington. Friends are invited to a reception immediately following the service at the America Legion Post #7, 17448 S. DuPont Hwy, Harrington.
Burial will be held privately.
