Corinne Cresson
Of Milford, Delaware, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at the Milford Center. She was 53.
Corinne was born on August 27, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Gerald and Patricia (O'Malley) MacCarthy.
Mrs. Cresson had been a realtor for several years with Prudential-Gallo Realty in Lewes and owned and operated, along with her late husband, the Long Neck News from 1994-97. She was employed lastly as a secretary for Christ Episcopal Church in Milford, leaving her position there in 2005.
She was a member of the Reformation Lutheran Church in Milford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Cresson.
She is survived by two sons, Jeremy Coffey and Caleb Cresson, both of Vineland, NJ; two daughters, Jessica Coffey and Tacy Cresson, both of Manchester, CT; a step-mother, Bonnie MacCarthy of Villanova, PA; two brothers, Colin MacCarthy of Villanova, PA and Kevin MacCarthy of Los Angeles, CA and two grandchildren, Ryleigh Coffey and Taylor Coffey.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Ave, Milford.
Interment will be held in the Milford Community Cemetery on North Walnut Street.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to the Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE, 19963.
