Christopher Porter

Greenwood - Christopher Karl Porter passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Bayhealth in Milford, Delaware. He was 52.

Chris was born on October 23, 1970 in Dover, Delaware to Amos Karl Porter and Betty Lou Dennis Porter. He joined the Tennefoss family as a baby and was raised by his foster parents, Thomas Jr. and Cora Tennefoss.

Chris was trained in masonry as a teenager and continued in the trade all his life. He took great pride in his work.

Chris was a hardcore Eagles fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Katie Porter; his son, Christopher Porter, Jr.; his brother, Bill Porter; and his biological mother, Betty Lou Porter. He also leaves behind a large foster family of brothers and sisters. He is preceded in death by his biological father, Amos Karl Porter; his brother, Russell K. Porter; and his foster parents, Thomas Jr. and Cora Tennefoss.

A memorial service will be held at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, at 6PM on Wednesday 2/15, visitation starting at 5PM.
