Charles "Charlie" F. Calloway
MILFORD - Charles F. Calloway passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 in Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Laurel on October 21, 1940, son of the late Carlton and Helen (Hastings) Calloway.
Mr. Calloway was employed as a supervisor with UPS, working out of several of their terminal locations lastly in Burtonsville, Maryland, from where he retired in 1995 after 35 years with the company.
Charlie enjoyed golfing and fishing. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and was a fan of driver Carl Edwards of NASCAR racing.
He was a member of the Turtle Club in Gambrills, Maryland, and a member of the Elks Lodge #2401 in Milford.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 17 years, Maryjo M. Calloway; two sons, Greg Calloway and his wife Rhonda of Boonsboro, MD, and Wes Coughlin and his wife Cathy of Lothian, MD; a daughter, Victoria Coughlin and her fiance James Lofton of Upper Marlboro, MD; two brothers, Kenneth Calloway of Laurel, and William Calloway of Salisbury, MD; and four grandchildren, Greg Calloway, Jr., Hope Schneider, Lauren Coughlin, and Charles Kenneth Calloway.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 12:00 p.m.
Burial will follow the services in the Milford Community Cemetery on Route 113.
