Carmen Gineris

Lincoln – On March 20, 2019, Carmen Gineris, peacefully passed away at her daughter’s residence in Milford.

She was born on May 6, 1940 in Barcelona, Spain.

Carmen met and married Lewis Gineris while he was stationed with the U.S. Air Force in Spain.

They moved to Dover, DE in 1977.

She was very gifted in making crafts and owned “Carmen’s Crafts” which sold those items in craft shows throughout Delmarva. Also, she was a very talented gardner.

Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Gineris.

She is survived by her daughters, Diana Smith and her husband Jeffrey, and Deborah Emery and her husband Thomas, her son, John Gineris, her grandchildren, Eric, Melissa, and Michelle Marrs, Christopher and Kristina Norris, and Sophia, Daniel, and Nathan Emery, and her great grandchildren, Alyssa Luna, Devlin Norris, and Landon Odom.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE 19963, from 5PM to 7PM on Thursday 3/28, with a funeral service at 7PM. Burial is Barrett’s Chapel at 11AM on Friday 3/29.
