Bruce Craig Crouch

On November 5, 2024, Bruce Craig Crouch, passed away at his residence in Milford. He was 63.

Craig was born in Clinton, North Carolina, on March 11, 1961, to the late Clifford Crouch and Vaughn Crouch (Peterson).

His family moved to Milford when he was ten years old. Craig graduated from Milford High School in 1979.

He then went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, N.C.

Immediately following graduation, Mr. Crouch started working as a Floor Supervisor at Scott Paper Factory for Kent Sussex Industries. Through hard work and dedication to KSI, he worked his way up to C.E.O., retiring in 2020. 

Craig was a very active advocate for people with disabilities and found himself involved with many boards and committees over the years. He was a member of the Mispillion Rotary, Chamber of Commerce of Greater Milford, Governors Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, Kent/Sussex Leadership Alliance, DANA Board of Directors, the Board of Directors for the Ability Network of DE, Delaware Workforce Investment Board, United Way Council of Agency Executives, and the Milford Economic Development Advisory Panel.

In his spare time, Craig enjoyed hunting (especially waterfowl), fishing, crabbing, going up to the family cabin, spending time with his family (especially the grandchildren), and watching UNC Tar Heel basketball. 

Craig was preceded in death by his wife Janice Crouch, and his father, Clifford Crouch.

He is survived by his children, Andrew Blatzheim, Anthony Taddeo(Rhiannon), and Lauren Fitzgerald – Crouch, his grandchildren; Connor and Reagan Fitzgerald, Vincent Wooster, and Gabrielle Harper, his mother, Vaughn Crouch, his brothers, Jayson Crouch(Margie), Trent Crouch (Christine), A.C. Lucas, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Avenue United Methodist Church on Saturday 11/16 from 10AM to 12PM, with a funeral service at 12 noon. Immediately following the services, there will be a celebration of Craig’s life. 

Burial will be private.
