Brian Whitley

On January 7, 2025, with his son David and his dog Ziggy by his side, Brian Whitley peacefully went home to be with the Lord and his late wife Carol at the age of 69.

Mr. Whitley was born on May 4, 1955 to the late John and Edith Whitley, on Long Island, N.Y. He grew up in Commack and graduated from Mahopac High School in New York state .

Brian furthered his education at Quinnipiac and New Paltz Colleges, receiving a Bachelors’ Degree in Business.

He worked as a Mainframe Systems Programmer at Infocrossing, Wipro, and most recently, Ensono.

Brian enjoyed being outside and spending time with his son. He spent many days bicycling, hiking, camping, and shooting with him. Mr. Whitley served as an assistant scout master of Boy Scout Troop 5, his son's troop, in Dingman’s Ferry, PA.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Carol Whitley. 

Mr. Whitley is survived by his son, David Whitley, his brother, John “Jackie” Whitley, Jr. and his wife Carol, and his dog, Ziggy.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, on Monday January 20th from 5PM to 7PM, with a funeral service at 7PM.
