Betty R. Musgrove

Betty R. Musgrove, age 90, of Seaford, DE passed away peacefully and went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 11, 2024.  

Betty was born in Denton, MD on June 30, 1933, to the late William Thomas Martin Sr. and Eunice Comstock Martin. 

Mrs. Musgrove served in Christian ministry as a pastor’s wife for more than fifty years with her husband Wayne. She also worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, in Seaford and as a Home Healthcare Professional. 

She enjoyed singing, playing the piano and organ, as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. L. Wayne Musgrove.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca S. Musgrove and Elizabeth A. Schwegel and her husband Robert; her three grandchildren, Kevin B. Chamberlain, Britain A. Johnson, and Ashley N. Schwegel; and her three great grandchildren, Mikayla and Nathan Johnson, and Harper Hoffman; her sister, Eunice Howard; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Avenue United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church St. Milford, DE from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 16, 2024, with a funeral service at 11:00 AM. 

Interment is at the Denton Cemetery in Denton, MD.
