Anna Juanita "Sis" Wilson

MILFORD - Anna J. Wilson passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 surrounded by her family that loved her dearly.  She was 92.

Anna was born in Hallwood, Virginia on September 22, 1923 to the late Perlis and Nola (Chesser) Chase.

She was an accomplished seamstress and worked for many years for Coopersmith's Sewing Factory in Milford later retiring to become a full time homemaker.

Anna loved to crochet.  Among her many handmade creations were baby blankets, christening gowns, afghans, and numerous items used around the house...true treasures her family and friends will cherish for years to come.  She also enjoyed reading, playing cards and putting together 1000 piece table puzzles.

She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Milford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Wilson in 1973, a brother, Perlis C. Chase, and a great grandson, Dale Steven Dewar.

Anna is survived by her four daughters, Tanya Wilson and her companion Gary Hawkins of Selbyville; Fran Gorlich and her husband Kevin, Candy Ennis and her husband Jack, and Cindy Wallace and her husband Roy, all of Milford; ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff at Milford Genesis for the excellent care and kindness shown to Anna while she was a resident there.

Services and burial will be held privately by the family.
