Anna Eastburn

August 5, 1927 — December 15, 2018

Anna L. Eastburn went home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2018.

She was born in Marshallton, DE on August 5, 1927, to the late Irvin and Ella McCall.  Anna graduated from Newark High School, Class of 1945, and attended Goldey-Beacom College.  She was a bank teller at Wilmington Trust until she started her family.  She and her husband operated Delaware Animal Care Center in Newark, and later CedarCrest Vu Farm in Clayton until retirement.

She attended the First Baptist Church of Milford, and was a very devoted Christian.  Her personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ was the most important thing in her life.  Anna also enjoyed quilting, gardening, and doing puzzles.

Mrs. Eastburn was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eastburn.

She is survived by her daughters, Anne Adams (Michael) of Bear, DE, and Lynn Savage (Gerald) of Milford, DE, and her son, Donald W. Eastburn (Diane) of Clayton, DE, her grandchildren, Ryan Savage, Jaime Carter-Houck, Duane Douglas, and Branden Douglas, and her sister-in-law, Janet Jenkins.

The family will receive visitors at the Chapel in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Hwy., New Castle, DE 19720, on Friday 12/21 at 10AM, with a funeral service at 11AM. Burial after service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Brackenville Center, Attn: Resident Council, 100 St. Claire Dr., Hockessin, DE 19707.
