Alice M. Webb
"Mom-Mom"
Of Milford, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was 84.
Alice was born on May 8, 1927 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes (McIntyre) Palmer.
She was a full time homemaker most of her life but spent several years employed as a nurse's aide at the Milford Center and babysitting for a number of her friend's children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon E. Webb in 1984, three brothers and a sister.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Sheldon E. Jr. and Susan Webb and Edward I. Webb, all of Milford; three daughters and sons-in-law; Alice and Jeff Minor of Milford, Rose and Mark Stayton of Frederica and Lisa and Danny Donovan of Felton; a brother, Joe Palmer of Glenolden, Pa; a sister, Rose Hiddeman of Ridley Park, Pa; eight grandchildren: Leigh Nagy, Jodi LeBeau, Joshua Webb, Danielle Donovan, Shelby Webb, Andrew Stayton, Rebecca Webb and Victoria Stayton and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call two hours prior.
Burial will follow the services at the Slaughter Neck Cemetery, Argo's Corner, Milford.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE, 19963.
